- Prizes: One (1) six-month Ancestry.com subscription (ARV $99) and three (3) genealogy books (ARV $25 each).
- Delivery: Justice For Greenwood will cover postage and shipping for all prizes.
- Winners: Selected at random and notified by email after November 20, 2025.

1. Sponsor
The Stories of Us Genealogy Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Justice For Greenwood Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 14161, Tulsa, OK 74159 (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Sweepstakes is void outside those jurisdictions and where prohibited. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotional agencies are not eligible to enter or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. How to Enter
To enter, register for the Stories of Us Genealogy Workshop held on November 20, 2025, by completing the official event registration form between November 6, 2025 and November 20, 2025 (“Entry Period”).
Each eligible registration counts as one (1) entry. No purchase, donation, or additional action is required. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address. Automated or bulk entries will be disqualified.
4. Prizes
A total of four (4) prizes will be awarded:
- One (1) six-month subscription to Ancestry.com (Approximate Retail Value “ARV”: $99)
- Three (3) special books featuring firsthand accounts from Survivors and descendants — stories to inspire and guide family research (ARV: $25 each)
Total ARV: $174.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Sponsor will cover all postage and shipping costs for prizes, and no taxes or fees of any kind will be charged to winners.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible event registrants on or after November 20, 2025. Winners will be notified via email using the contact information provided at registration.
If a selected winner cannot be reached, is ineligible, or fails to respond within seven (7) days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s discretion.
6. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible event registrations received during the Entry Period.
7. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes and acceptance of a prize hereby constitutes each winner’s and participant’s consent for the Sponsor and its designees to use their name, likeness, biographical information, statements, and Sweepstakes participation for advertising, promotional, and other purposes in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission.
8. Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, injuries, or damages of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, or from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered, or delayed entries, notifications, or communications; (ii) technical errors or failures of any kind; or (iii) any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer or property related to participation or downloading of materials in connection with the Sweepstakes.
9. Privacy
Information collected through event registration will be used solely for the administration of this Sweepstakes and for future communications from the Sponsor, in accordance with the [Justice For Greenwood Privacy Policy]. Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
10. Governing Law
This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
